Supporting the mental side of recovery. Together.
Physiotherapists do incredible work on the physical side of recovery. But injury isn’t just a physical experience. It affects how people think, feel, relate, and move through the world. I collaborate with physios who want their clients to return stronger - mentally, emotionally, and physically.
Why refer to therapy?
Injury recovery is rarely just about physical healing.
When your clients are feeling stuck, dysregulated, or emotionally overwhelmed, therapy can be the missing piece that helps them recover effectively.
Therapy can help people who are:
Stuck in fear or avoidance after a setback
Struggling with the identity impact of injury
Comparing themselves to others and losing motivation
Finding it hard to follow rehab plans or overdoing it
Burnt out from high expectations or high performance
Dealing with emotional shutdown, grief, or hopelessness
Over-training, underfueling, and stuck in overdrive
What it’s like to work with me
I’m a psychotherapist with a background in systemic, narrative, and trauma-informed practice. As a runner and former rower, I understand the language, identity, and mindset of injured and high-performing clients.
Therapy is not about fixing or pathologising. It’s a collaborative space to help clients process what’s happening and move forward with clarity, emotional regulation, and purpose.
I work alongside you, not around you. I’m always happy to collaborate — with consent — and make sure that our work complements your treatment goals.
